About Dr.Kaminski
Hi, I wanted to take a few minutes to introduce myself. My name is Dr. Amy Kaminski and I am a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Arizona. I grew up in Arizona and attended the University of Arizona for my undergraduate education where I studied psychology and anthropology. I then moved to California to attend the Pacific Graduate School of Psychology at the Palo Alto University where I received my doctorate in clinical psychology. Although my clinical experience has included working with the full range of clients including adults and geriatric populations, I have developed a specialty in working with individuals 3-25 years old and their families. My clinical expertise includes working with children and adolescents who are struggling with issues of depression, bipolar, anxiety, family conflict, divorce, defiant behavior, school problems, social skills issues, low self-esteem, sexual orientation, identity formation, substance abuse, suicidal thoughts, and self injurious behaviors. I have also worked with students who have learning disabilities and ADHD to better succeed in school. I have experienced working with children in a variety of settings including, schools, community mental health, residential sites, and medical facilities. I have also worked with individually with parents on a variety of issues which affect their ability to parent or be in relationships with their families.
